The Smith hale is located near the small town of Wailua, just north of Lihu'e, on the east coast of Kaua'i.
It is located on Kuamoo Road (Hwy.580), 4.2 miles west of Hwy. 56, near such sites as Opaeka'a Falls, the Wailua River, the Kauai's Hindu Monastery, and the historic Coco Palms Hotel, where Elvis' Blue Hawaii
was filmed in 1961. Wailua is centrally located halfway between the Napali coast on the north shore
and Polihale Beach on the west shore, and less than 30 minutes from Kauai's airport in Lihu'e.
